The Pavone stream is the longest of the Cecina river tributaries and rises on one of the highest peaks of the Metallifere hills before crossing the provinces of Grosseto, Siena and Pisa. In this valley, the waters of the natural pools formed by the stream are clear and emerald like, making it impossible to resist the temptation to take a regenerating dip. The Masso delle Fanciulle and the Masso degli Specchi, small and isolated natural paradises, are perfect for spending a few hours of tranquility surrounded by the unspoiled nature.
