Walking these paths, you have the feeling of entering a storybook or a fantasy saga. The rocks overlooking the river from which the wild thyme, the helichrysum, the juniper and other herbs typical of the land emerge, the narrow gorges between rock walls and the crystal-clear waters that are suddenly seen from the centuries-old woods <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> all these envelop the visitor\u2019s imagination, involving all his senses. An all-round experience that makes you feel like the pioneers of the 19th century naturalistic exploration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>A dip in the waters of the Pavone stream<\/strong><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Pavone stream is the longest of the Cecina river tributaries and rises on one of the highest peaks of the Metallifere hills before crossing the provinces of Grosseto, Siena and Pisa.\u00a0 In this valley, the waters of the natural pools formed by the stream are clear and emerald like, making it impossible to resist the temptation to take a regenerating dip.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0The Masso delle Fanciulle and the Masso degli Specchi, small and isolated natural paradises, are perfect for spending a few hours of tranquility surrounded by the unspoiled nature.
